Single Exposure

Nowhere to hide, nothing to lose
Layered losses falling off
Before you I knew so little
About me you know so much

Shuttered in this floating cube
A prism of shades in life
Deflected from slights
Imaginary foes as friends
Too much is enough

Corrosion coursing threw me
Time turned again and now
Defenseless demands insist
Off guard, on the stand

Ready - times stop
Scarred - clouds part
Silent - fears hover
Exposed - palms open

Take me as I am
