Morning coffee
freshly poured
filled to brim
with joy
My life, my cup
I raise to Him
awaiting
with curious mind
With what will
you fill my day
I'm ready for
His pour
whether it be
with strife
or joy
my cup
runneth over
with Love!.

I think you did a great a job on this!. I wouldn't change a thing!. But there is something a little off about this, maybe after " cup runneth over" you should just cut it off because we know by the end of the poem that you are referring to God filling your spiritual cup w/ blessings or heartache!. I did enjoy but I am not going to tell you that you need to change something!. The poet's original work is never the same after it has been edited because the first thing you wrote down is what you reallly feel or you are confused and are finding your way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think that there is something about the openness to what ever that is there and could be ended on rather then the cliche that you run into!.

we are people who need to be open to the yes that is asked of us and for me as a theologian I always need coffee before I commitment
