Down feather pillow where head once laid concave imprint in morn still remains does head remember sweet slumber found softly cushioned ever gently embraced yet imprint lingers on used pillow form tangible evidence of night's work before for whom do memories ultimately last and remain the one who imprints or was imprinted upon!? I've kept telling my granddaughter about what we did together when she was 14 months or so; she says she remembers, but what she remembers is the joy of talking it over with me each time and how we laughed!. I think that the most important memories are those we continually share with the ones we love so that the stories go on from one generation to another!.
