I became an adult when I accepted responsibility for myself, and became mature when I grew to the realization that though I had done so and would gladly extend myself to help others do likewise, that I could not do that for them!. I still struggle with that one from time to time, but that's okay, the other person seldom notices!.!.!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I grew up when my sister got into drugs and my father and mother were crippled and i had to be the responsible one!. I had to get a job and keep my grades up and deal with the responsibility and pressure of my sister!. Hearing her cry in the dead of night and seeing her bloody wrists!.!.!.!.ugh!.!.!.i could never forget!.!.!.!.!.That is when i became and adult!. That is when i fully understood my self and my purposes in life!. I became and adult when pressure forced me to become mature!.

Life gives you twists and turns,
and no matter how much your heart yearns,
to change your path in destiny,
you must accept reality!.

when life present a different course,
you must feel no remorse,
while you soul bends and grows,
nobody knows,
you have become and adult!.

Honestly
I was changing diapers at age 4!.!. I was trying to get a job at age 9
I was paying my own way at 14 and I became a man at 21!.!. shux,, I still look like a girl!.!.!.!.
I had my first child when I was 24 I got married when I was 26 I got divorced when I was 46!.!. I am thinking I have not grown up and never will but and as the others said I have been an adult as far back as I can remember!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well I am Old --but honesty I am still working on growing up !
Perhaps on the day I leave this earth someone will say that I may have grown up !.
