Early here The eyes search, They have grit in them What are they looking for!? The eyes are looking for light The light is not there for them The screen is dark, no life behind The cold dark screen holds no memory Of what transpired in the evening When the thumbs were busy Typing words to a loved one Who is too far from the whole!? I'll have to ponder upon that a bit longer!. Nice bit of verse you have penned!.
