Question: Do you think this is good and do you think he'd like it!?
I wrote it for me for my dad!
In a world where all is lost, I can't find my best friend!.
Somewhere he will be found in your heart or all around!.
We miss him everyday, but I know he's here right by us and watching eagles at they bay!.
We shouldn't be sad he's gone, but instead look by the river!. Look for him on a boat or by him wearing his coat!.
One day we'll see him yet again, but for now just wave your hand!.
I know he's here listening and watching us!.
But don't be sad for too long you'll see him again strolling along!. maybe not now or right then!.
I am just looking for my friend!.Yours maybe faraway or close by, but mine is not!.
He watches me cry and hugs me in my dreams and says good things to me too!.
I will always love him forever and I eill see him again in this workd where we're not lost but found!.
We will all say we love you but we know he loves us too!.
You can call my friend Dad!
My Dad died in may of this year!. I wrote this while I was sick in the hospital!.

This is the most heartfelt poem I have read in a long time!. I truly saw your Dad in your poem and felt I was standing there along side of you waving to him!.

I lost my dad in 2001 and I haven't gotten over it to this day!.!. he was my BF!.!.!. !!!!!!!!
from the time I was very young!.!.
I miss him all the time!.!.
and I am grown!.!. have kids and g'kids!.!.
I watch movies and something will make me think of him!.!.
You go girl!.!. !!!!!! keep writing!.!. put it on paper!.!. and save it in a drawer for many years to come!.!. and one day!.!. take it out!.!.
but you need to do this for your own therapy!.!.
it is very good!.!.
