Contemporary pastoral works paint an idealized picture, in both words and other art forms, about rustic country life!. Soft colors in paintings, and soft words in poetry rather than stark realism by either!.

How to write one is a good question,,, I wish I could give you an example!. Not much help I know,,, at least you have a definition to possibly work with!.
