Question: What of a poem on office supplies!?

Wasted Paper

As I sat to write this time
I thought to not make it rhyme
Mince no words yet coalesce
Breach the dark and not digress

Pen a piece that can stand tall
Show that I’m above it all
Let the images be their own
Share the view that I was shown

But somehow it just came out
Forced from me with no doubt
That I must try once again
To write with a more pleasant pen

A form so structured suits not well
when attempting, dear, to tell
of the vagaries of life,
describing that needs words so rife

with passion,
power,
the color red staining walls
of the soul, heart in hand
singing to the masses,

wasted paper boulders
coalescing to become
the mountain to climb, to exult from
in triumph
"I have seen!"
