Question: When is enough, enough !? Patience is a reward !? !?
Sun settling low,
wispy cloud above!.
One call, asking,
no reply heard!.

Dusk firmly fades,
rushing into dark!.
Tried once again,
nary a peep echoes!.

Hazy stars shimmer,
absent moon!.
Third time charm,
nothing received

Breeze of moisture,
slaking day’s heat!.
Probing question,
yet no answer!.

Dew falling now,
clinging about!.
Patience is waning,
wearing so thin!.

Shadow in flight,
ghostly gliding by!.
Silence, dead silence,
not a breath taken!.

One very final call,
persistence a virtue!.
So faintly an echo,
returns in reply!.

Simple encouragement,
nothing more needed!.
A lively chorus abounds,
tree frog symphony now!.

Sitting upon a deck outside of Atlanta a few nights ago I was pleasantly surprised that such things existed in the city!. Floods of memories came back from my childhood upon the farm!. So, rather than ignore it, I wrote about it!.

As usual, comments and suggestions are always appreciated!. I know I am a novice, yet I am open and willing to learn!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could have been talking about Chatt, not as city as Atlanta, but right next door! I like it,painted a nice picture in my mind! I loved the part about the frog symphony between that and the crickets could be an orchestra!
