Question: Are they really out there!.!.!?
chasing the fairy tale

daisies and dollhouses,
plucked petals and prose,
barbie and ken,
lovers or foes!?

dancing delusions,
cinderella in red,
snow white lies snoring
in a shattered glass bed!.

fairy-tales are sweet
like silk and cheap wine,
they charm the senses
and mystify the mind!.

yet, you wake in a tangle,
pain twisting your head!.!.!.!.
happily-ever-after
is just something once readWww@QuestionHome@Com

I like your rhymes in your first stance, "prose and foes!." Then in the second stance you rhymed bed and red!. Your rhyming was more like B - D, B-D, but A-C didn't rhyme!. A nice free verse with a touch of rhyme in your poetry!. Your poem is also very smooth, making a transistion to the next line almost instant and it seems like they are connected very closely together!.

Well done! Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes, I like this!.!.!. simple rhyming couplets which work well as you don't have jarring end-stop!. It has something fresh to say!.!.!.not sure barbie and ken are the inhabitants of fairy tales, but heck it's your creation!.
Nice read!.

is just something you read (!?)
Edit - I don't believe in fairy tales as actual events, but as allegories to be used to hightlight certain relationships!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

These tales, like poetry, all contain hidden meanings!. That is why, like poetry, "they charm the senses/and mystify the mind!."
