Hi, this is the first time I have tried my hand at poetry, but really enjoyed it! (It's about the ocean and surfing) It helps to know something about surfing when reading it!.!.!.but any comments welcome!
Seeking Solitude
No limits
None north, none south
An addiction, a frothing mouth
None west, none east
A swell reflecting inner peace
Known to few, unknown to most
A playground of pride this earth boasts
Challenge the mind, start the chase
Explore the freedom you seek to embrace
Reach that point of no return
Cross the bridge, watch it burn
Push forward, draw the lines
No pressure, control resigns
A beam of light, so dim, but straight
Confess your wrongs, confront your fate
A fountain of life, a story told
Water imitates gold
A salty substance, a drug in disguise
A mere few that understand its highs
