A PRAYER FROM THE DISENCHANTED
"Of all I want and all I have,
This moment,
THIS reason,
Shall have it's season!."
A graveyard looms atop the rise
Beneath the rage of stormy skies---
And in that mottled hue of light,
The dusk exchanged for darkest night!.
And no one heard her tears of rain,
As graves bore witness
To her pain----
She has not come to grieve for those,
To mourn the death of loved one lost
But rather, of the lost one loved,
By NO one but the sighing wind!.
And as she seeks her resolution,
She draws upon a dark conclusion
And in that mottled hue of light---
