Lonely Sacred

Lonely is a sacred feeling
disconnected yet yearning
like baby’s eyes
searching for its mother!.

It forces an examination,
regrouping of whats went wrong!.
Reality defining reality,
where do I belong!?

For humanity calls with its chains;
we are after all, attached!.
Sacred is the feeling lonely,
it means… you care!.

or it can be sad
being lost
depending on the circumstances
The feeling lonely can make one

Provocative poem!.!.!.I never really thought of it like that before!. To feel lonely means you care!. A concept worth pondering!. I don't feel lonely anymore, but I do still care!.!.!.some things not as much as others, but I still care!. I think if you've found your place where you can be comfortable and content then you no longer feel lonely, but you never stop caring!.

See, these are the types of poems that make me feel like a heel!. I have a phobia of people and love to be by myself!. Does that mean, because I don't feel lonely, that I don't care!? I always miss my kids when there gone but at the same time I enjoy my solitude!.

Once again you make me ponder the goodness of my heart!. I never feel cold locked inside until somebody opens the curtains and lets in the warmth--then I get seriously chilled!.

I really liked this but I don't share the point of view that we are attached in the way you put it!. I think we want attachments (friends, love) and struggle with keeping them!. To me it's not as simple as "after all"!.!.!. there is much to discover even spiritually in attachments!.!.!. and there is hard work and nurturing involved in keeping them!.

Lonely is scared, and now scared means I care!. So, we end up with the fact that I feel lonely because I care!? First, show me a place or a time where I don't "care!." And now that I care about the fact that I'm lonely, what now!? I'm still lonely, only now I'm lonely with some care!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good and thoughtful verse, and an accurate observation to boot!.!.!.as a grammatical aside, you might want "what's gone wrong" which gains in assonance what it loses alliteratively!. None of that dilutes your message, however!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
