Question: In the road not taken why does he choose that path!?

In the poem 'The road not taken' by Robert Frost, why does he end up choosing that path, if he says they both look the same!? Im confused!.!.!. :SWww@QuestionHome@Com

It may infer mans need to follow the herd when ideally he should be courageous, led by bravery to follow a path mapped by his own principles and objectives and driven by his own inner desires!.

This is greater likely to award him success and happiness in life than following the designated and rudimentary way!. The path less travelled being one where uninspiring demons and mindless sheep fear to tread, and is the more adventurous for being so!.

They don't both look the same, exactly!. One looks "less travelled by" so he goes for that one!. The reason is probably because he expects to have a more interesting walk!. Rather than take the path everyone knows and so have no surprises, he would rather be caught off guard by whatever the less taken path offers and so have a richer experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually, one has been traveled a lot by people before him and the other one hasn't!. He picks the one that hasn't been traveled a lot, because he wants to make his own path in life!. As a result, his life turns out to be more interesting and enjoyable to him!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
