Poetential

I know I’ve got the poetential––
But a fact most consequential
Undermines my future strength:
I cannot write for any length!

By the way, to *Me*, i think the "poetential" thing is deliberate, because he's ,making fun of himself by saying he has the Potential to be a Poet,
so he's just playing around with words!.!.!.

In art forms there are two types of works - One derived from perspiration and one derived from inspiration!. As the word perspiration suggests it is hard work and the results are not quite as good as inspiration!. Seek out ways to inspire yourself - read books, spend time in nature, ponder late at night etc!. Most good poets have experienced pain and heartache which also inspires them to write!. You already have the skills and once you have the inspiration it should be no problem!. also try writing less formally!.

From an amateur poet, I love it!! Excellent vocabulary!. I have wrote little poems at Christmas for years to tie gag gifts at work to the gift that I purchased them!. It became the highlight of the night!. Coworkers had so much fun with it that many of them still carry these poems in their wallets or have copies of them hanging on the wall!. The length will come with the situation!. It can become therapy if you use it on your feelings!. Great job and stay with it!Www@QuestionHome@Com
