Question: Does this poem hint at what it's like to discover a rainbow!?
Vision blurred, I swipe at stinging mixture,
sorrow's tears, summer's rain in lashes mingled!.
Unfocused eyes downward gaze, catching
black grackle seizing rain-surfaced worm
twisting for release from predator's grasp!.

Swiftly, crow gives flight, my vision remains
locked, he travels until clouds he does part!.
My pupils in response quickly close to shield
blinding shaft of new light the opening revealed!.

Eyes adjust quickly, I've lost my black friend,
instead find hued arch, colors vivid and pure!.
Breath catches at sight, I pause and reflect,
eyes remain focused on sky's neon bow,
inviting God's promise to the depth of my soul!.

light's ingredients and promise!.

facilitate the transfer of focus!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Isn't the journey of life wonderful when you stop and watch!. After the rains a multi-colored wonder arrives, a symbol of love and of a promise that one never tires of seeing!. How remarkable such a thing of beauty flies higher than the flags of any country, and how ironic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
