Question: Do you inventory your "Lost and Found"!?
We lay here together at long day's end,
old bodies now tired, been round the bend!.
We've lost and found treasures that need no mend!.
You, my true love, lost your full head of hair,
but I've found wisdom that's beyond compare
in that beloved dome now proudly bare!.
You offer nighttime smile that shows just gums,
yet in it I've found that whatever comes
it conveys love, when seen, still my heart hums!.
And me!? Long ago I lost my trim waist,
too many goodies I guess I did taste!
Still your arm finds its way there without haste!.
My face lost its firmness, now wrinkle filled,
your eyes find an image easily willed,
young girl, a memory time has not killed!.
Together we've lost much throughout our years,
but in sharing the joys, heartaches and fears

as we moved past the barriers,
overcoming our fears,
sharing laughter, pouring tears,
we discovered truth and love,
within one another,
gently given by the other!.
