Fj?lvar The Dragon

There once was a dragon with teeth hard and sharp!.
he was big, and green, and his name was Fj?lvar!.
nice and kind, and was truly smart!.
he lived in a cave so very cold and dark!.

He’s two hundred years old,
but still young for a dragon!.
He has many more years,
before he begins to start laggin’!.

He’s quick and powerful with legs made like steel!.
He can fly so swiftly, it seems so unreal,
Past mountains and trees in a land so surreal,
like wonderful treasures that you cannot just steal!.





Sweet Thangs

I'd write a really long ode (a)
to delicious coffee (b)
or pie ala' mode (a)
or the best thing ever, toffee!. (b)

yes, toffee’s the best (c)
no doubt about that!. (d)
it makes you smart, & pass all your tests (c)!.
wear it on your head just like a hat!. (d)
your life will have zest (c)
and it wont make you too fat (d)




My Wonderful Bills

let me tell you about the bills i owe!.
it takes all i have to make it each day!.
my money seems to shrink ,don’t you know!?
yet my bills seem to want to come and stay!.

i love it ,i love it ,i love it, don’t you fret
i know these bills will come each week
even though i haven’t paid them all yet,
i know its an arm and a leg they seek
i pay i pay and i pay but yet,
i know that I’m loved 'cause my bills are up to my cheeks
