Question: People are hating my "serious" poem, how about these shorties!? 1 is happy and the other is depressed!. !?

Teddy-Head Slippers

As slippers they're functional
But friendlier then friends
Looking up from the floor
Full of warming thoughts, awaiting
The next step!.

Last Wednesday

uncooked spaghetti
causually dropped
cracked
shattered
swept up by as careless
a broom as you
have ever known
