Ok, so I was sitting on the sofa, sick of T!.V, and decided to do something I love!.!.!.write :) I'm 15 and writing's a passion, so please tell me what you think of this!. It's not one of my best poems, in fact, poems aren't even really my thing but whatever!. I'd just like to know what people think of it :)
My Choice:
The rain pours down, quite translucent
Lingering fragments of your sweet scent
Still remain in the corners of my house!.
Remember when we were as cat and mouse!?
The kettle reminds me from downstairs
That warmth will soon not be so scarce!.
My white laced curtains, I set adrift
Through those old memories I do not want to sift!.
Arguments encrypted in my gift-wrapped mind
Like writers over time who are never left behind!.
A cup of tea is what I wanted
A cup of tea is what I now hold!.
I know you're sorry for my distress
You've said you'll change, and my love is no less!.
The liquid trickles down my throat
Wrapping my insides in a soft fur coat!.
I've asked opinions of many others
Friends and sisters, mothers and brothers
Verdicts from all were quite the same
Leave him right now, for there are people you can't tame!.
I've pondered on all verbal thoughts
Correlated both the fact and fiction
My conclusion is that life's not simple!.
Love and Hate is rarely fair
Why should I look for justification!?
When I know what I feel is far too real!.
So I'll forget what other parties seem to think
I'll grasp your hand and step into your bubble
Forever enclosed we'll stay in our innocent comfort
With our lovers daze, as watching the sunset!.
Warm arms encircle and craddle my body
A soft kiss planted on my perfumed neck
I didn't hear a pronounced entrance
But you've ealways enjoyed the thrill of surprising!.
It's simple moments like the one we're in now,
When I'm sure that you love me and understand how!.
When I know you're the one who will always care!.
So entwine your fingers through my own,
And take me to places so sweet and unknown!.!.!.
