Name of poem: "I Can't Take It Anymore"
I can’t take it anymore,
The pain that weakens me with every breath
With every heartbreak that I get
The way I feel when you don’t speak to me
The thoughts about you that I think
The way I can’t get you out my mind, heart, or soul
The way I feel when you speak to them
The way you ignore me
The lies that you said
The words that were said, just lies…
“I love you”
I believed you
I can’t take it anymore,
I wish you would speak to me!.
The way you speak to them!.
The words you told her,
“hello” you said,
but not to me
I knew you forgot about me
I can’t take it anymore,
Just reassure
That those things were true
That you do love me
That you didn’t forget about me!.
Say “hello” and make me feel safe
Because, I just, cant take it anymore
