Today, we climb D-3,
The tallest peak
in the rim of Stickney Creator
on Fobos!.
As the team
prepares for
this once in lifetime journey,
our leader, Major English,
reads the dedication…
“On days like today,
we look up at Mother Mars
with wonder!. We bathe in her
glory and see that she is
God’s greatest creation!.”
The Major is
a good mission commander,
but his skills with prose
are somewhat lacking!.
“Hold on there, Boudreaux!” I exclaimed!.
(you’ll notice this
because of the exclamation mark!.)
“There is no proof
that God created Mars!.”
“Sure there is,” says the Major,
“Look at where you are standing!.”

I feel that I am nearing the start of an amazing journey!. A journey that will not only take me to Mars, but through the entire universe!. I shall see it all in the twinkling of an eye, and then spend eternity reliving the moment!.
