Position:Home>Poetry> With a new horizon, are there real dangers ?Question: With a new horizon, are there real dangers !? ***** HOW QUICK TO DEFEND I’m out of the woods I’m on the path toward the village I see the smoke above my people I hear war cries and crackling guns, My pace is faster I load my rifle on the run I ask the storm God to bring thunder As I scream with all the ancients in me, Down into the lush green valley Rifle, knife and tomahawk If I find one Shawnee fallen I’ll rip out some scalps and tongues, I broke into the inner circle as I saw the children running all the fire and commotion was the village having fun, I caught my breath bent over panting then at rage My belly laughing, “What is wrong with you, Cornplanter!?” ***** Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'd love to see these little serials tied end to end in one place some day!.
