POST MERIDIAN POETRY
HAS A SET REGIMEN
Just as I was about to emote,
the oven timer reminded me
that my pepperoni and jalapeno pizza
was ready to come out…
Now, I must remove myself
from the art, and slice the pie!.
“I shall return!.”
Says Dugout Doug…
The battle between
brain and belly
was probably the first poem penned!.
When one is full
the other is empty!.
Their conversations
are the origins of expression!.
And, with a reclining chair
that raises and lowers
in concert with
the events of the day,
we, perhaps share a whisky
and blow smoke rings through each other…

Your definition of poetry as "Literature Concentrate" is probably the best definition of poetry I have ever read!. This is an original definition, created by TD Euwaite and it explains in a few words what poetry really is!.
This definition should be copyrighted and then taught to all would-be poets as well as to poets who are recognized through publication!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It brings out the best and worse in my case!.
