I don't write poetry at all but I just jotted this down out of boredom and wanted to see what you guys thought!. Again, I am not a poet!.!.!.!.so be nice please lol!.

Your glances burn forever
Your words caused depair
My heart is severed

i think this has real emotion in it, and has potential!. right now, it seems, like you said, more of a jotted down thought than a poem!.!.!.maybe if you expand it!.!.!.
