Question: Please help me finish up my poem!?
I'm 14, and I'm going to enter this into an amateurs poetry contest I found in the newspaper!. Anyways, I can only use 3 more lines (it has to be 24 lines or less) and I need a good last few lines to round it off!. Please help!?
Everyday you make a choice
You choose your attitude
What you make of the day
You choose your gratitude
Be loyal, or betray
You choose to stand up
For what you know is right
Or you choose to give up
Give up a hard fight
You choose what you say
And choose what you think
You choose everyday
To conquer or sink
You choose to love
Or reject, deny
Choose to be of
The truth or a lie
You choose to believe
Believe what you do
You choose to achieve
Or to be all through

It's a pretty good poem!. I think that where you ended it is a good place to stop!. The first few lines are pretty forced, they should flow more like the rest of the poem does!.
Is it not against the rules of the contest to have someone else finish your poem for you!?

Okay I am going to help you help your self now the poem refers to the choices you make in life so end it with the choice you have made be it good or bad!.
No one should ever finnish another poet's work or it wouldn't be the poet's work ok!.
So dig down deep into your soul and you will find the answer and an ending to your poem!.
And a poem isn't always about rhyme and meter always remember that so you don't stifle yourself and your creative abilities!.
