FANTASTICAL

Fairies and gnomes are quite wee,
unlike the serpents at sea,
Dragons grow older,
Children grow bolder,
Except, for Mandy and me,

Scaries and ghosts uncompared,
Wicked old witch gives a glare,
Flagons of cider,
Basket-fulls wider,
Grabbing the loot as she stares,

Floating in clouds puffy white,
Aloft on our whimsical flight,
Wagons in space,
Wind in our face,
Dreaming our dreams in thin air

A poem composed of three Limericks!. Well, almost three!.

"Dreaming our dreams in thin air," I wouldn't change it!. It says too much--and it does tie in with the second stanza!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Have you been reading to your daughter!? This so reminds me of stories I made up for my two young sons many years ago!.!.!. I wrote of "Sir Marksalot" (Mark my son) and "Matthew of Lockness" (Matthew my son)!. They conquered dragons and overthrew evil kingdoms!.!.!. boys with massive magical swords on a mission to save the world from the evil men do!. Not one time did they fail!.!.!. my 2 young heroes!.
