i know i already posted this but in a different catagory!.
i wrote this poem for my long distance friend!. if we lived closer we would date but we both love each other!. he recently told me that he smokes weed every night and is basically an alcoholic!. =/!. should i send this to him!? it makes me cry =(

I admired you and trusted you with my life!.
Friend!.
I looked to you for strength and support!.
Love!.
But do you know you broke my heart!?
Disappointment!.
Clouds of smoke have altered your dreams!.
Happy!?
Your life relys on the drug!.
Regret!?
When you stop we can be together!.
Escape!
Can you hear me!? Do you care!?

Its up to you!.

The poem is better than your friend!.

It sounds as if he took off and left you for someone else; that didn't work out, so he's thinking about you and remembering happiness!.
But, he is a drug user, probably an alcoholic; from personal experience I have found that these kind of men generally lie as well as womanize!.

I'm glad that you stated in your poem -- "When you stop" because that is important in a long term relationship!.

Your poem is well written, the structure is exact and you stick to it all the way through!. Yes, it is a good poem

1!.) Sure, you can send it to him!. I'd rather talk to him, though(on the phone)!. Either way, though, he should get the hint that you won't have a long distance relationship/date him if he does drugs and is an alcoholic!.
