Question: Who wants to go to the circus!?

Over The Big Top

Rooster crows
Because it knows
It’s time

Grab it all and let’s go
Come one come all to the show
Where we show what we know
In hopes that no one will know

Jugglers Jesters Magicians Mimes
Poets tickling our tongues with rhymes
Purging the past polluting the page
Seeking solace while venting rage

Some dispose penning strings of prose
Others ignite with tomes that incite
Selective salesmen writing lines of three
All smoke and mirrors so you won’t see

But none perform without the fear
No matter how loud no one will hear
All of the thoughts tears and dreams
Floating away on weightless reams

Really such a crime
These drive by mutings

Okay, let me tell you I have very high standards for poetry, and I'm gonna say that most poems you find on these kinds of websites are absolute crap!.
However!.!.!. I REALLY REALLY liked that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You're really good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"drive by mutings" - what a line! incredible phrase!

I am married to a professional clown of 35+ years experience!. He does magic tricks and balloon sculptures!. Jimbo the Clown!. We have a Children's Amusements and Promotions business (Jumping Castle (s) x3, Merry Go Round) He also "deputises" for Santa when he can't make it(no need for padding, he has his own) at the right time of the year!.
Friends call us the "2 clowns" but I don't wear a costume!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Now see what I'm seeing here,
is the poetic circus dear,
not the jugglers and the mimes,
but those who juggle and mime rhymes!.

The hidden masks that we all wear
in Yahoo!Answers Forum share,
are our words truly the sum of the heart,
or riddles and mysteries to break apart!.

Drive by mutings,
poetic shootings,
what's the difference,
if the weapons are the same!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I was a semi professional clown for a period of about 5 years still do some side jobs!. You missed all of the joy, the ere of mystery associated with purposely making people happy and joyful!. An escape from the hum-drum workaday lifestyle that is circus You need more practice writing and use of vocabulary as well as grammer and punctuation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Very Creative!. I love it!

This is my favorite verse,

"Purging the past polluting the page
Seeking solace while venting rage!."

I`m glad I didn`t miss this show!. Thanks!

Stage players in the big top
take more risks on swings
and ropes, then I ever thought,
while the clowns on the ground
do their spin, hoping no one will flop!.

Kudos neat poem!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I used to lurk
Read all your work
With a funny smirk!

I now answer in turn
As now I have learned
That acceptance in this group
Will have to be earned!.

I wager we know more about each other than any other virtual group!.!.!.
Poets appear to be honest, if not always truthful!.
Drive by mutings is a new classic!. Great Poem, HP!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You put on a fine circus performance, my friend - however, watching the audience's reaction - has me spellbound ?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've actually never been to a circus, but your poem is very well thought out and written!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
