Just Thinking
Touch me and I come to life
The gentle stroke of my wife
When I see you I rise awake
Rescue me from my heartache
Days apart lonely without you
All my trust I could never doubt you
With your smile I become whole
Eyes of love light up my soul
Emptiness when we’re apart
Fill the void that is my heart
Salvation in your sweet touch
Deep inside you what a rush
Beautiful savior you are my guide
Melt the steel that is my pride
Crimson tears fall as I go
On my knees to let you know
Far from you lost embrace
Sacred images of your face
Back in your arms instant bliss
Lost in the dream of your kiss
Count the days till’ by your side
Hollow moments I can not hide
Purge the past erase the pains
Your life blood flows through my veins

@sorry for your loss!. I assumed that because of your other poems about traveling that you were seperated by space, by your travels!.
You 2 were lucky to have someone love you as you loved eachother!. Trust me, I would know!. It`s hard to find love!. I only had a strong love like that for my children!. I always say they are the loves of my life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
This is one of the saddest poems I've read in a LONG time!. It brought me to tears!. I once had a very close friend move to a two hour drive away without telling me she was moving!. That is what this poem reminded me of!. Thank you for reminding me of her!. I need a happy light in today, and remembering her did just that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
