Question: How come my questions get little attention from you!?

I am quite certain that there are several reasons why this is so!. Early morning postings do indeed go largely unnoticed!. Poems that are semantically dense or that adhere to classical patterns of rhyme and meter have a smaller audience, it seems to me; some people have directly stated that they are put off by such artistic conventions!. I know, I adopt them also and have few responses to my questions!. Many moons ago, I answered questions in the Math and Science section!. Often, I would give long, detailed and factually rich and insightful responses to questions!. I was shocked to find that I had received thumbs down from other users!. If in your postings you make these people insecure then you will arouse in them the sense of their own inadequacy and you will be rejected!. The fault lies not in you, but in them!. As the American transcendentalist Thoreau has so beautifully articulated, you are one who marches to the beat of a different drummer!. Paradoxically, more people are marching with you now (i!.e!., have responded to your posting) than when you have waited for them to arrive and instead they have become latter-day Godots!. Read the range of responses to this question and you will see that some people have heard the undertone of frustration and the sense of rejection and dealt with it directly and pragmatically, others have tried to place your experience within a philosophical framework that will provide some consolation, and yet others have used you for the two points they gain!. Each one of these responses is a revelation, and if you are sometimes disappointed in your fellow man, then at least you have met them and know them for what they are!. I would like to thank all of the people who have answered this young man's question; I wish to thank you in proportion to the sincerity of your answer, for that is the standard by which each of us will be judged!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have answered you on numerous occasions!. You largely try to write in a classical style!. Some have been excellent, some have shown merit, and some!.!.!.well perhaps more editing before presenting!. I also like to try to understand what the poet is attempting to say!. With some of your postings, that has not always been the case!. Usually then I just move on to the next!. No offense to you, I just don't feel comfortable critiquing if I do not have at least some idea!. Keep posting, and keep critiquing others!. Another site has a great guideline that for every one you post, you should give three critiques!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I respond when I can, but I am at a time in the year where I can't go online as often as I did so am only able to respond to a few questions each evening!. Just keep posting and answering others posts and you will eventually gain more and more responses!. Posting during the afternoon and Inviting others to be in your contacts will also help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My early postings only produce 2 or 3 responses (I know because I've looked back to find some of my poetry which I'd not kept a copy of) that was in February of this year!. Now, I get loads of responses - it takes time for people to find you!.!.!.!.!.posting interesting, well written poems helps and also being prepared to read and comment on others!.
Be patient!.
ps - you are posting in the correct section!? Don't let A!Y choose your categories for you!. In my early days one of my poems was posted in a completely different section!.!.!.!.!.naturally, none of the poetry readers noticed it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
