I wrote a poem about how I experience poetic inspiration!. I was wondering how many people can relate to it!.
I Am No Poet
I am no author
Though I put pen to paper
And record words
I am but an instrument
Guiding another instrument
I am no writer
I am a vessel, a limb
An extension of external will
I allow it to take hold
To suppress my identity
And lose myself in the moment
I am no poet
I open my eyes
And see words upon the page
Words I didn't write
But are there anyway
And no one is around but me
And I am still holding the pen
