Question: Have you opened mail that brought bad news!?

Darkness crashes down
like lids over eyes
sucker punched to your
knees, left winded,
the opened letter
dropped, sitting
untouched atop
dusty table surface
impacts like a two
car collision
air bags inflate
and suffocate
no jaws of life
will tear you from
this twisted mass
of raw nerves fighting
to glance once more,
hoping to discover
the ink has morphed
characters to form
words far less fatal!.

Yes i have and you arent the only one in this lonely ship at sea!. I dont know your bad news but we all have survived bad news in our own way!. Somehow we manage to get through this turmoil!. All i can say is hang in there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Never have had something like that come my way, but i know several folks over there, and some just returned, and hope their families never have to open such a letter!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I heard fatal words that i was in denial over for three hours or so,until someone else told me the same news and then i knew it was true and my world collapsed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
