First of all, stay as far away from rhyme as possible!. Go with what you feel!. You don't even have to write full sentences in a poem:

Going to miss your presence!.
Your beautiful face will always
be on my mind!.

Something like that!. I'm not saying what I just wrote was any good!. I'm just giving you an example!.

Get yourself into a mind set!. How old are you!? Is this puppy love or is this something more!?

You could comment on her hair/skin/eyes!. But that is kind of over done!. Maybe talk about the mundane aspects of life, how the colors are not as bright with out her!. Don't get me wrong that has been over done too, but it is certainly more artistic!.

Are you stocking her!? There is something about that!.

Usually these things write themselves when the feelings are hardcore!. Plus maybe avoid the rhyming!. People end up saying stuff like, "I saw a Possum, your are awesome!.!.!." So Danger!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use her nick name very offen and dub a favorite song then frame your words accordingly at least 4 lines then repeat the same without using the nick name!.
