He writes his duty
Free from the ashes
Sitting in line

I really enjoyed that sentiment!. Feels as though it might be from or for military personnel!. Could just be the current political environment making me think that way!. also, enjoyed the phrasing, not the standard ABAB rhyming pattern!. Gave it the right punch!.
