Question: When in the time of this poem!?
*****
MARK BARKER’S SCHEDULE CHANGE
TO SECOND SHIFT GAVE HIM A NEW
PERSPECTIVE ON THE NEIGHBORS!.

Clotheslines aren’t hardly used anymore!.
I can understand why,
watching you work so hard,
stretching and straining with each pin…
It is maddening to view this ritual!.

And as the sweat dampens you,
then the chilling breezes flap at your shirt,
exposing the bright white tank top underneath,
honestly, it’s too much to witness!.

When you walk between the damp sheets
I can see your silhouette,
The bob cut of your hair, the taughtness
of your shoulders and thighs,
Laundry is such a tedious task…

You know as well as I, that's Mark's interest was not in the laundry being hanged to dry, but in the laundry not yet washed and still being worn!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sensual feelings in form and color - sheets billowing in the wind - the sporadic concealment of form!. Overlayed image of a desert tent - soft silk curtains - out of Arabian Nights - and of course - the slave girls!. also - all the vital images - we no longer see - due to the invention of the clothes dryer!. However - nothing can beat the smell of fresh hung sheets - even if their stiffness - may be a little rough - on tender skin ?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Now, if this was the first of a series!.!.!.!.!.!.

Can this perhaps be entitled "Disparate House Lives"!?
