Question: War is for fools poem !?
Who invited war into our homes!?
It’s a bitter pill to swallow
That sends us all to the gallows
It doesn’t matter
if your rich or poor
crying at someones store
or on the floor
Even if you’re a good fellow!?
It’ll make you sick and yellow
It turns our lives upside down
And ground us into bones
Some say there is profit in war
But for me I’m not so sure!?
I’d rather see my fellow man alive
Smiling with his family
Staying alive
Than a lost soldier drowning
Or dying down a rabbit hole
Who invited war into our homes!?
I think it stinks
I think it’s a sin!?
I wonder where it all began
Someone took something from someone
Without letting on
Then the other later found out
A war of words went on tow
Then blood started to flow
What a shame
What a mistake
Our lives sometimes come down to fate
Jesus just opened
the door to heavens gate
