Question: " LIKE ICE ", a poem as I grieve

The words hung like icicles!.

Cold, pointed, poised,
dripping ice and cold
in that frozen
worthless sun shine!.
drip

drop

my soul, my thought

drip

drop

into that one time
frozen and quiet
for once-

don't move me,
don't come near-
Let me melt
away

At the risk of giving offense where none at all is intended!. Here is what makes sense to me!. The visual balance is enhanced with this slight change!.

I could see this printed with a background of misty winter trees!.
