Question: Did you ever write a country-western song!?
Country-Western song reject
By C!.S!. Scotkin

Saw the writing on the wall,
of the number seven stall
of the ladies room
in my fav’rite bar!.

It’s the one I always use,
Oh,how that did so amuse
my ex and all his
stupid macho friends!.

I’m not all that bitter, see!?
Cause of what he did to me
made me think!. Freedom
was worth fightin’ for!

His message, it was crazy,
the air got very hazy
from the cigarette
I was puffin’ on!.

Said, “come home, you’re forgiven,
can’t tell you how I’ve striven
just to match my socks,
sweep your kitchen floor!.”

The Good Book says obey me,
get your butt home and save me,
bank account is low
so you keep your job!.

The groceries, they need buying
me, I think I’m dying,
bathroom ain’t been scrubbed
since you did it last!.

I called in the manager,
laughing hard I said to her
this graffiti here,
give me paint and brush!.

You’re all on your own now, jack
didn’t you figure when I packed
that I’m never, ever
coming back to you!.

Nope!.!.!. but I been a DJ and I've taught line dancing!.!.!. I know what's good and what's not!.!.!. the songs I have written were ballads or soft rock and no one paid attention!.!.!. but I'll give it a shot:

The 3 Minute Shot

Me and Blood went a hunting and a walking
Blood almost got hit while I was a taking
Train came setting the whole ground a shaking
and mom lost her pie that she was a baking!.

I was telling Blood about my girl Mary Lou
and how I I met her while drinking some brew
We got drunk, and made love in the morning dew,
now there's a problem cause she is way overdue!.

Chorus:

Old Blue, Old Blue, What should I do
Old Blue, Old Blue, What will I do
I got to drinking and stayed out too late
Let's have another pitcher and I'll ponder my fate!.

(There's another verse I was going to write about trucks, racing, and jail but I'll save it for another time)
