Rained up, down, Diagonal!.!.!. Intracacies spiraling Granite to sandstone!.!.!. To Life, before fang Claw!.!.!. Miasma's prints Imprinting survival Mutations!.!.!. Kenya!.!.!.Olduvai!.!.!. Staged basins From the Earth!. What price!? What eyes closed!.!.!. Opened Eons later to Triumphs' confetti!? A door shut behind Me!. I opened the window!. Was this how all Happened!? The stage!. The acts!?Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Like I said before: I don't always understand exactly where you're coming from or where exactly you're going with your words (no fault of your own; it's just I'm not all that worldy and haven't learned all the thing's I've like too of have, yet!. But, one thing I've always enjoyed about your writing is your use of caesuras, and emjambments, and how your heavy use of ellipses tell us exactly how long to pause (or should I say !. !. !. reflect)!. I think !. !. !. Your tongue Has many wisdoms !. !. !. TRUTH! you speak to me!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Funny, I use ellipses a lot only I call them dots and spaces I call ellipses!. Need to go back to remedial punctuation! lol Your poems are always intriguing because the ellipses, line breaks, commas are inserted purposely to create proper pausing, ( I have been taking notes!) That takes skill!. Confetti is certainly an apt descriptive word for evolution!. The Serengeti is the birthplace!. It must have been quite a boiling pot of stew!. Your words speak this in the progression!. To me, a poem! Compliments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com One act in particular was very scary!.!.!.the geneticists have discovered Humans have far less genetic diversity than Cimpanzees and theorize that a long time back (but just a blink in geological terms), some catastrophic event brought human numbers to approx 2500 individuals!. We really are all brothers and sisters and cousins!.!.!. The poem is great and I also love ellipses!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com As usual, I have only the faintest inkling of the meaning of this poem!.
