Question: Would like to read another cheery little nocturne!?
*****
CAREFULLY PLANNED
TO THE N’th DEGREE

I want a box
that will not leak,
or a lid that will squeak
when they close it on me!.

I want my hole
dug square and dug deep,
with corners cut neat,
in the place where Ill sleep!.

I want the dirt
shoveled carefully, please,
and dirges they sing
and the tears that they bring…

At 1 AM, I find the poem planned well but the topic less than "cheery!." However, it matters not whether the box leaks or is sealed--your work will live far from your body's resting place!. That which you will have left behind will resonate with those who remain!. Of the body of poetry you are creating, some will last long after that box has become part of Earth's dust!. I am thinking of three poems in particular, which illustrate how women wish men would love them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Good planning!. Don't leave things to doubt or chance!. If they open my casket, I'll get up and walk out!. My directions are that it has to be square and sturdy enough to support a Ham, a Turkey, a Standing Rib Roast, two kegs of Beer (one light and one dark), three kinds of Pie, two Cakes, and the standard Seven Sweets and Seven Sours!. Instead of dirges there should be a good Polka Band, as well as a Jazz Band for the trip out and back from the cemetery!. Everyone above the age of five is to have a bucket of beer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Considering the only other option is "do you want fries with that!?" you have chosen wisely!.
* my sincere apologies if you understood the shrouded meaning of that last comment and found it a little confronting!. I can revise my comments on request!.
