Question: What of a moth!?
A deterrent = something that deters; makes one stray from one's course!.

Just by looking at the title "A Moth's Deterrent," what would you assume the deterrent is!?

I think the common idea would be for a moth to be attracted to flame!. So, if a moth is to be deterred, I would assume you mean by ice--the opposite of fire!.

At the same time, a moth can also be drawn to light, and if this is what you had in mind, a moth might be deterred by darkness!. Of course, that would be metaphoric as obviously moths still fly around at night!. Unless, what you are trying to say is "in the same way a moth is drawn to a flame, [something] is repelled by the dark!."

It's an interesting concept, and one I think most people could easily relate to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
