My mother and I disagreed on 'you name it'!Www@QuestionHome@Com

My old Mum used to say it
In a slightly different way!.
'Horses sweat, men perspire
But ladies merely glow'
If she'd seen me to-day
Clearing out the shed
Sunshine, and thunderclouds
overhead,
Drops of sweat running
Off my nose
She'd believe I was
one of those
huge, furry-footed
gargantuan cart
pulling mares
But, who cares!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I love old sayings!. When they are retold - to the new generation - they are totally transfixed with this new kind of "knowledge"!. I love yours - always a nice image - of a "lady glow" - such a nice way to present it!. LOL ?Www@QuestionHome@Com
