Summer strolls
Among the sprouting corn stalks
Of Mother Earth's farm,
As the Father Sun
Reaps the soil dry!.
Summer swoons in warm
Mid-day showers!.
And she sings for
The ocean birds,
Soaring in circles
In the timeless gloom
Of the monster of the sky!.
Summer sits with
The spider webs,
Shaded beneath an aging oak!.
She is the prided maiden!.

Fall flies among
The falling colors of
Mother Earth's canvass
As Father Sun hides
Behind the breeze!.
Fall feasts with
The full Harvest Moon!.
And he forages among
Frightful field mice;
Trapped forever within
The huge maw of a forest!.
Fall frees the world from
Worrisome fears,
