Question:

Im not too experienced writing poetry but i have some ideas!.!. here it is

My rage darkens these words i write
so dark as this pitch dark night
Then these tears everytime it drops
smear these letters away just like this love
i believed in you stronger than i would do for God
it was as soothing as a prayer everytime i called
then you touched my heart everytime we talked
i thought we would last forever like a religion
but now all i do is miss you every second my eyes blink

I wrote this about a month ago please tell me what you think

I am no expert in poems, but I'll give this a shot!. You seem to be very religious, "i believed in you stronger than i would do for God, i thought we would last forever like a religion"!.
You might want to chance a religion to something more concrete in the 2nd to last line!. People change religions all the time!. Look at Obama!. What about, "I thought we would last forever until eternity!."!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have to admit, I'm a bit confused!.!.!.

I don't quite see what the poem was about!.also, you didn't settle on one emotion!. Rage, and then the implications of sorrow!.
