Seeing the dawn in a new light
Forgetting the
darkness of last night!.
Feeling the sun warm the still air!.
Recalling the time
you were still there!.
Seeing myself in a new way!.
Just as my eyes
greet the new day!.
Telling myself I can make it!.
Convincing my heart
life won’t break it!.

Grabbing the chance to be free!.
Re-learning how to be!.!.!.!.!.!.just me!.
