Question: Can you read another poem!?
Caregiver
By C!.S!.Scotkin

“How are you!?” I ask
referring to her infection!.
eyes fill, close,
futile attempt at composure!.
“I’m OK!. Each day
is harder, he knows my name,
not my face!. No longer
has a past or a future!.”
An altered state,
incomplete widowhood,
custody only of his body!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unfortunately our perceptions of this condition is not their perceptions!. All of the physical, mental and emotional afflictions that burden us still affect them but we are unable to reach them to make assessments!. This is our inability not theirs!. We are the ones groping in the dark!. Great poem!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
