Question: Let me throw this up there!. Here, give me a hand, will ya;!?
*****
ONTO THE HEAP

In retrospect,
I do regret
asunder gone
experiments,
Time machines,
recycled dreams,
Twisted, broke and bented things

In my notes,
I must have wrote,
at least a thousand times,
Your toy boat,
it will not float,
without rhythm and rhyme…

Ta Dah!

And here all these people go telling me that poetry doesn't have to rhyme!. Your last line has shattered everything I've done!. I'M LOST, ALONE, ADRIFT!!! And laughing my head off!. This is very beautiful, but with your subtle undertone of humor (at least to me, who likes to laugh at everything)!. Thank you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
