Question: Do you like my pome about the death of the Sun!?
Death of the Sun
by Elaine P
What means five billion!?
Is it more than five million!?
Planets dance a cotillion
around middle-aged Sol!.
Our sun will implode then
It will not explode then,
Earth’s surface will erode then,
when Sol says farewell!.
We don't need to worry
Sol is in no hurry
From his dust a furry
new star will be born!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You know I have a spot in my heart for science poetry!. So yes of course I like it!. I love the topic!.
I liked cotillion!. I thought the second strophe read really well!.
The only word that kind of threw me was "furry" in S3: I wasn't sure if you were going for:
From his dust and fury
I just wasn't making the furry connection!.!.!.
But yes, I do enjoy these types of poems!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
Who needs the sun, when we all live on Mars!? Just kidding!. I love the humor and the brilliance of your "pome!." As for the intriguing imagery of a "furry" star, I am afraid I am captivated, and wish very much now to see one!. Any pointers!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
