There's a poem buried in what appears at first glance to be a paragraph!. Dig it out, restructure it and it will look and sound like a poem!.

Good writing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Congrats!. This has much going for it although in current prose form it could use some editing!. Like:

In the depth and darkness
of my heart
a flame grows, ever brighter

Rework and post again!. My compliments!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have some excellent imagery in this prose poem!. It may read even better in poetic form!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

"Hi!",
For a first time poet that is amazing!.
I am an armature myself, trying to get the ropes in poetry!.
You have already receive critique from the best poets from yahoo!. that have answered before me!.

Just restructure it as Elaine and the rest said in a poetic form which, Neoman expressed, do a slight edit and make sure you use Spell Check before you post, that's just a tip from an experience illiterate, I'm joking!. LOL : )
after you use spell check re go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure the words are as there meant to be!. I am still a shocker!. I just noticed my last post still had a missing letter after I used spell check!. so yeah, re-check LOL!.

Good luck with your poetry!. I believe you will do great!.
Cheers : )Www@QuestionHome@Com
